Meditation app rebrand for the Mindvalley ecosystem

Branding • Graphic design • UI

Omvana is Mindvalley’s dedicated meditation and mindfulness app, home to hundreds of guided sessions across sleep, focus and personal growth. The brief was a rebrand — modernising the visual identity while bringing it closer in line with the wider Mindvalley brand family, without losing Omvana’s own distinct character.

Visual Development

The existing Omvana identity had drifted from the Mindvalley ecosystem over time, feeling disconnected from the brand family it belonged to. The rebrand needed to close that gap — modernising without starting from scratch.

The solution was rooted in the existing Mindvalley typeface, Gilroy, which was refined and adjusted to create the Omvana wordmark, anchoring it visually within the wider brand. From there, the “O” of Omvana became the central design element — a simple, versatile form that carried through across the UI, meditation covers, and supporting graphic language, giving the brand a cohesive visual thread across every touchpoint.

What’s Your Mix?

One of the key features that set the app apart from other meditation platforms was the ability to remix meditation tracks, combining different guided sessions with a choice of background sounds to create a more personalised experience.

We built much of the campaign around this idea, creating advertising and social content that demonstrated the flexibility of the feature. For the rebrand launch, this also became the focus of the ‘What’s Your Mix?’ social campaign, inviting people to explore and share their own combinations.

Designing a system for hundreds of meditations

The rebrand extended beyond the visual identity into the Omvana app itself. I designed the UI to create a more cohesive experience across the platform, carrying the new typography, colour system and signature “O” into the interface while keeping the experience calm, intuitive and easy to navigate.

With hundreds of meditation tracks across different themes, the interface needed to make discovery feel effortless while maintaining a strong visual identity. I developed a flexible system for meditation covers, categories and content that could scale across the growing library and remain consistent across devices.
