Deep Summit

Event branding, brand strategy & visual identity system

Branding • Print • Event

Deep was a creative summit planned for Nuanu, Bali, bringing together thinkers across science, art and wellness. As freelance art director, I developed the brand identity from concept through execution — logo, colour, typography, photography direction and a full event collateral system.

Visual Development

The identity began with the idea of going deeper — into ourselves, into nature and into the questions that connect science, art and human experience. I translated this into a visual language built around depth, transition and discovery. The central arch motif became a key element of the identity, representing a passage into another space, while the gradient palette created a sense of movement between different states.

Rather than creating a static event identity, I designed a modular system that could adapt across the many touchpoints of the summit. The visual language was translated into signage, badges, merchandise, social content and digital experiences, with photography direction helping create a consistent atmosphere across the brand.

Bringing DEEP online

The website was designed as the digital expression of the DEEP identity — immersive, editorial and intentionally spacious. It needed to introduce the summit, communicate its speakers and programme, and give visitors a sense of the experience before they arrived in Bali.

I translated the identity into a responsive digital system, carrying the gradients, typography, photography and graphic motifs across the site while keeping the experience clear and easy to navigate. The result was a digital space that felt like an extension of the physical event rather than a separate marketing touchpoint.
